I am very pleased with the overall progression this week within whiteout. T1 and T2 both downed two new bosses which is a great accomplishment (especially since both teams have been just short of downing a few bosses for a while).
Furthermore, attendance seemed to improve. Teams were finding ways of being able to raid, whether it was somebody playing on an alt, or a guildy jumping in to help, suffering the consequences of being saved to wherever the raid team may be. I believe T1 had 3 solid nights in ICC 10 (Tues/Weds/Fri), and T2 had 4 (Tues/Weds/Thurs/Sun).
Some Whiteout members also got to participate in TOGC 10 man on Saturday night. We had a lot of success downing the first 4 bosses without many problems (maybe 3-4 wipes total), but Anub was giving us problems. Still this was very good for the guild in general because some people received gear upgrades, we had two guild firsts, and it gave a lot of guildy's experience working with one another. Hopefully we can do this again next weekend and find time for ulduar hard modes as well.
Since our Raid schedule seems to be increasing, I think it is a smart idea of putting some people on "reserve" for the week to help assist teams when somebody cannot attend. We will rotate members from teams and put them in this spot where they will have to suffer getting saved to wherever the raid team is at to help the raid team progress. I will be coming up with more details about this by tomorrow.
Tonight we have ICC 25, so far we have 22/25 members signed up, I know one or two said they could make it who haven't signed up yet, hopefully they will be able to attend. Tonight's raid is going to be fast paced, I expect everybody to be ready and on their mains by 8:40. We need to blow through trash and clear the first 4 bosses asap like we did last week. I have confidence that we can down Festergut and Rotface tonight.
