Tuesday Night
|
Tuesday night was a very successful night. One team had a few new members and cleared Rotface on their first shot and also got the Weekly done, great job! We will probably start bringing in members who don't always get a main spot on a team for the first few bosses to give them more of an opportunity to show improvement in their specific class (dps/heals/damage donge/activity time etc) and their raid awareness. Thank you to the members who filled in last night and overall did a great job.
This is a general guild announcement. Please do not sign up for Raids if you are not going to be on the specified nights given in the raid details. If you think you can only make one night or are going to be late please put that in your signup notes. If you see your status is "queued" either I haven't been able to update your status, or we are waiting to see what class distribution we will have for the raid. Last night we were waiting on various members to show up and they failed to do so. Granted, I know things can certainly happen last minute and that is perfectly understandable, but just in general please do not sign up, or try and cancel a sign up if you cannot make the raid.
I have high expectations of getting 2-3 new bosses down this week and to also see more members down Rotface and hopefully more! Keep up the good work! |

25 ToC Tonight
|
We had an incident come up last on a piece of loot. As of 1/27 we had posted in our loot rules that superdank would be getting the next tier token that drops. That promise was broken last night due to the fact that we were switching over to a new loot council system. Superdank had the power to give himself the loot but the loot council asked me if that rule was still in effect, I said no, let the council decide who will roll on the item.
As a result, for tonight's 25m ToC run, we are keeping Death's Verdict on Reserve for Supergrover to compensate for the piece of loot he was entitled to.
I will try and set up an additional run this weekend for anybody else who is specifically going for DV. |

25m LOOT COUNCIL
|
After trying to alter our loot system slightly over the past few weeks, we have finally decided to use a Loot Council system.
Reason:
Many members who are consistently on and deserve gear are continuously being out rolled by members who sign on for 25's or can only attend a one or two raid nights per week. We certainly don't have any problems with having a real life lol but members who are able to put more time into the guild deserve gear over the members who can only make it on when it is convenient for them. Too many members who actively participate in the guild are getting too frustrated on others stepping in a raid or 1-2x a week and winning some of highest level and most beneficial gear in the game.
This system will take Trial and Error and we will be trying it out during tonight's raid. Members of the loot council will use criteria to determine who deserves gear. There will be more specifics about this, but for tonight (thurs 2/25) it will consist of:
- Attendance ( Who makes raids on time, who can commit all their toons to the guild.
- Performance: Who stays alive, knows fights, and plays their class to its maximum potential.
- Gear Maintenance: Who farms the materials for the best enchants and epic gems.
Now, I know everybody doesn't get into raids but a big issue on why we can't expand and make another Raid team is mainly because T2 doesn't have a defined RL, let alone T3. Hopefully this change will spark some initiative in our members and motivate some to take some higher positions in the guild (I only received about one person who mentioned briefly they would take on being an officer, and one volunteer to run a third team).
I will not be an active member on the Loot Council. As of right now (Tonight) the Council will consist of:
-Superdank
-Warranpeace
-RxKramer
-Chaoz
-Beelzebubb
*Sheerah: Will be an active Loot Council member if others are not on.
*We will possibly be adding more members in the future.
The Loot Council System will work like this:
-The Loot Council will know each player that is eligible to roll on items.
-If an item drops that you would like, you will whisper the officer assigned to take whispers that night:
- 1: For BIG upgrade. 2: For Minor. If nobody wants the item for any of these purposes we will have off spec rolls.
- The Loot Council will then look over who is eligible to roll, and will allow however many people they feel is deservant to roll on the item.
- Lets say three people are determined that they can roll: They will be announced to the raid, and will be told to roll, any early rolls will NOT count.
- Some members may win more than 1 item, but for the most part we will still try and limit 1 loot per raid.
This is all trial and error tonight, hopefully we can get another group going so we can broaden the amount of people we can take in our 25's and this will also increase your chances to be eligible to roll and receive gear.
Lastly, the main reason for this is for Progression.

Monday Night 25 ICC
|
Great Job in 25 ICC! We cleared the first wing with great timing and even got the weekly done in the second wing thanks to Hormonggler. People are certainly stepping their game up but some are still slacking, spots will be becoming more competitive as we start to progress.
I have confidence our 10's teams will get off to a good start this week and both will successfully defeat Rotface. Plan on another 25 ICC this week possibly this coming Thursday, if not Monday.
We will be hosting a 25m ToC Friday night, giving guildies the primary spots and also leaving spaces open for some applicants. Geared Alts are welcomed as everything will be a free roll for your main spec. I do advise members who are lower on the damage meters/activity/etc to play their mains and practice their rotations, try new ones, or try different enchants or gems to help improve their individual performance.
We will also be running an ICC 10 for members who did not get in during the week or could not attend that time. We are still recruiting for a 3rd team for to raid while our other 2 Teams raid but since we have 1 Raid Leader, 3 geared Tanks atm, and not enough DPS and personal schedules that match well with our current raid nights (mon-thurs) we aren't close to fielding a team atm.
I am very happy to see the improvements on our 10's teams and 25 man runs. Keep working hard and we will certainly continue seeing positive results! |
